Minster Bank’s Bonnie Trzaska Named Citizen of the Year

Minster Bank is proud to recognize Bonnie Trzaska, Call Center Representative, as Minster’s Citizen of the Year, an honor presented by the Minster Civic Association.

The Minster Civic Association has been a cornerstone of the community since its founding in 1967, providing financial backing and hands-on volunteer work to organizations and projects that enhance the quality of life for all Minster residents. Each year, the Association presents the Citizen of the Year Award to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the community through service and dedication.

Steve Eiting, Chief Wealth Management Officer at Minster Bank and former President of the Minster Civic Association, was in attendance to celebrate Bonnie’s well-deserved and historic achievement. “Bonnie was recognized for her selfless service to the community,” Eiting shared. “She prefers to work quietly behind the scenes, but her volunteer efforts with the church, the library, and the local Right to Life group have made a meaningful and lasting impact.”

Through her role at Minster Bank and her involvement throughout the community. Bonnie exemplifies what it means to be a positive and caring presence. She is known for her kindness, reliability, and genuine desire to help, consistently going above and beyond for both customers and colleagues. As Jessica Phlipot, Bonnie’s supervisor, states, “She makes a difference every day through her dedication and work ethic, at the bank and in the community.”

Bonnie was presented with the award at the annual Citizen of the Year Dance, where she recalls being just as shocked as anyone to receive the honor. “It was quite the surprise, but such a blessing to have all six of my children there with me,” she shared. Reflecting on her achievement, Bonnie added, “I believe that every day we are given the opportunity to do good and to be kind. We simply need to be aware of those moments, be present, and act on them.”

Bonnie became the 4th Minster Bank employee, past or present, to accept the Minster Citizen of the Year award.
