JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Branch Manager helps to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives within established bank policy. Supervises and coordinates activities of the Relationship staff involved in performing internal operations in the branch office. In addition to the operational duties, this position serves as a backup to the Branch Manager.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify customer needs and collaborate on possible solutions.
  • Communicate professionally.
  • Resolve a variety of simple to complex questions.
  • Explain the features and benefits of all banking products and services, including all consumer accounts, business deposits, and non-real estate loan products.
  • Understand and effectively explain the purpose of various federal regulations.
  • Ensure proper coverage of branch personnel to achieve high standards of customer service.
  • Responsible for selection and development of branch staff.
  • Experience or willingness to learn non-real estate consumer lending preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A broad knowledge of products and services offered by the bank.
  • Solid knowledge of bank-wide regulations and thorough knowledge of regulations and laws that relate to his/her department.
  • Able to lead a team to achieve sales goals while balancing the needs of the customer.
  • Must be able to utilize time productively with minimum supervision.

JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Relationship Associate position is responsible for helping our branches retain and grow their customer base. This is accomplished by providing superior customer sales and service.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create strong customer relationships and bank growth through superior customer service.
  • Cross-sell and refer products by using an effective and consistent sales approach.
  • Serves our customers by processing over-the-counter transactions and assisting with questions.

JOB SUMMARY

The Loan Operations Representative is responsible for various clerical and operational responsibilities for the loan department. Other responsibilities include:

  • Reviews loan packages for completeness of documents and compliance with bank policy, regulatory requirements and secondary market lending parameters.
  • Maintains secondary market rate information by updating consumer rate sheets daily and updating logs.
  • Responsible for operational aspect of selling loans on the secondary market.
  • Balances various accounts, which will allow us to be compliant.
  • Conducts compliance review on real estate loans.
  • Completes various loan reports.
  • Works with other employees and customers to help the loan department run efficiently and provide excellent customer service.

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Customer Service Manager supervises and coordinates activities of the Customer Service staff by acting as a “working manager” setting a proper example by a willing attitude toward personally handling customer calls, making cross-selling presentations, dealing with customer complaints, etc. The Assistant Customer Service Manager serves as a back up to the Customer Service Supervisor.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fields all telephone calls and answers the majority of customer inquiries without transferring the call.

JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Lending Officer is responsible for the general management and administration of the bank’s commercial lending, credit administration, and treasury management areas. The Chief Lending Officer ensures compliance of all commercial policy and regulatory requirements and administers them to minimize risk to the bank. The Chief Lending Officer is ultimately responsible for the infrastructure that supports implementation of loan policies, products, and strategies. Other responsibilities include:

  • Manages the activities of the lending division to ensure maximum overall profitability of the Bank’s lending activities.
  • Develops and recommends loan objectives, policies and procedures; provides guidance to lending officers.
  • Participates in business development activities.
  • Works with the credit department in the development of loan policy and implementation bank wide.
  • Negotiates all loan participations and purchase agreements, reviews applicable loan documents, effects settlement and maintains file and servicing for such loans.
  • Manages the commercial loan officers to maximize productivity, efficiency and the potential of human assets of the company, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values and overall policies of the bank.
  • Supervises the Treasury Management function of the Bank – with focus on implementing activities and programs to develop commercial and industrial deposit activity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four-to-ten-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to management and/or board of directors.
  • Excellent lending experience in a community or super regional bank.
  • Strong credit underwriting skills.
  • Well-rounded senior management experience with a successful track record of accomplishments and a strong lending background during his or her career.
