JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Lending Officer is responsible for the general management and administration of the bank’s commercial lending, credit administration, and treasury management areas. The Chief Lending Officer ensures compliance of all commercial policy and regulatory requirements and administers them to minimize risk to the bank. The Chief Lending Officer is ultimately responsible for the infrastructure that supports implementation of loan policies, products, and strategies. Other responsibilities include:
- Manages the activities of the lending division to ensure maximum overall profitability of the Bank’s lending activities.
- Develops and recommends loan objectives, policies and procedures; provides guidance to lending officers.
- Participates in business development activities.
- Works with the credit department in the development of loan policy and implementation bank wide.
- Negotiates all loan participations and purchase agreements, reviews applicable loan documents, effects settlement and maintains file and servicing for such loans.
- Manages the commercial loan officers to maximize productivity, efficiency and the potential of human assets of the company, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values and overall policies of the bank.
- Supervises the Treasury Management function of the Bank – with focus on implementing activities and programs to develop commercial and industrial deposit activity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four-to-ten-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to management and/or board of directors.
- Excellent lending experience in a community or super regional bank.
- Strong credit underwriting skills.
- Well-rounded senior management experience with a successful track record of accomplishments and a strong lending background during his or her career.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt, 40 hours per week
WORK LOCATION: In person
SCHEDULE: Day shift Monday through Friday with some Saturday mornings and additional hours if needed

JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Customer Service Representative is to respond to various customer requests for information or other assistance through fielding telephone calls, e-mails or staffing the CARE position. Cross-selling the Bank’s products and services is considered an essential part of this job and a moderate amount of “soft” outbound telemarketing may be required from time to time.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fields all telephone calls and answers the majority of customer inquiries without transferring the call.
- Responds to customer questions and requests for account and product information in a professional and friendly manner, while identifying cross-selling opportunities using an effective and consistent sales approach.
- Answers customer inquiries, troubleshoots, and answers feedback for all the Bank’s automated banking services including the processing of incoming account applications.
- Performs daily activity reports for Online Banking and Telephone Banking.
- Create strong customer relationships and bank growth through superior customer service.
- Be knowledgeable of the bank operations, products and service offerings.
- Adhere to bank audit and compliance policies and procedures.
- Resolve a variety of simple maintenance requests and issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A broad knowledge of products and services offered by the bank.
- Solid knowledge of bank-wide regulations and thorough knowledge of regulations and laws that relate to his/her department.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

WORK LOCATION: In person
SCHEDULE: Our department hours vary Monday through Friday 8:00 – 5:00 and Saturday’s 8:00 – Noon

JOB SUMMARY
The Credit Assistant position is responsible for assisting the Credit Analyst by preparing spreadsheets and inputting various data that will aid the Analyst in evaluating the financial condition of businesses and associated individuals applying for credit with the bank.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tracks financial information and credit data for commercial loan customers.
- Assists the Credit Analyst and Commercial Loan Processors to enable them to spend more time on other responsibilities.
- Helps prepare various loan reports.
- Assist with compliance reviews.
- Assist with appraisal reviews as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to actively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Must possess a solid understanding of Word and Excel and other technology utilized in the position.
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 26 hours per week
WORK LOCATION: In person
