Minster Bank Staff Donate to Mercy Mission House
During the month of September, team members at Minster Bank raised funds for the Mercy Mission House in Sidney through the bank’s Casual for a Cause initiative. This donation reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Originally established as a warming center during the winter of 2022, the Mercy Mission House has grown into a source of shelter, support, and hope for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Sidney area. While the organization first addresses immediate needs by providing safe housing, meals, and essential resources, its mission extends far beyond temporary shelter. Through supportive programs and personalized guidance, the Mercy Mission House helps residents regain stability, achieve independence, and build a path toward long-term success.

Funds raised through Minster Bank’s Casual for a Cause initiative will directly support the mission of the Mercy Mission House, helping provide shelter, essential resources, and supportive services to those in need. Through Casual for a Cause, staff members dress casually on designated days in exchange for a donation, giving teammates an opportunity to come together in support of meaningful causes in the communities we serve.
“It’s inspiring to see people throughout our community come together to support neighbors in need,” expressed Amy Gallimore, Relationship Associate at Minster Bank’s Sidney branch. “The Mercy Mission House’s generosity helps provide hope, stability, and a path forward for those facing difficult circumstances.”
