Account Alerts

Stay in the know and protect your money and identity with real-time notifications by push alert, text message,1 or email. Choose from dozens of customizable alerts, including:

  • Account balance below threshold
  • Withdrawal over threshold
  • Debit card transaction
  • Loan payment is due
  • Address was changed
  • Check number #### cleared
  • Online banking login was locked out

Debit Card Text Alerts

These alerts offer simple and powerful protection for your Minster Bank debit card. Here’s how it works:

  • Your debit card transactions are continuously monitored for suspicious activity
  • If suspicious activity is detected, you’ll receive a text1 from 37-268
  • Simply reply to the text with “yes” if the transaction is legitimate or “no” if it’s not
  • If you’ve indicated the transaction is fraudulent, you’ll be notified of next steps

All Minster Bank debit cardholders with a current mobile phone number in our system are automatically signed up for text fraud alerts. Contact us today to confirm that you’re protected.

Lost or Stolen Card

If you’ve misplaced your Minster Bank debit or credit card, or you suspect theft or fraud, it’s important to contact us as soon as possible:

  • Stop into any branch
  • Contact us via Online Banking (business or personal) or the Minster Bank mobile app (personal)
  • Call us during business hours at 1-866-MINSTER
  • Call us after hours at 1-800-472-3272 (for debit cards) or 1-800-558-3424 (for credit cards)

With Manage My Cards in the Minster Bank app, cardholders can easily view recent transactions, set alerts, and turn cards on and off.

Do You Think You’ve Been a Victim of Identity Theft?

Here are your next steps:

  • Contact the fraud departments of each of the three major credit bureaus (listed below) and request that a fraud alert be placed on your file and that no new credit be granted without your approval
  • Close any accounts that have been fraudulently accessed or opened
  • File a police report and share a copy of the report with Minster Bank, your credit card company, or others that may need evidence of the crime
  • File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov or (877) ID-THEFT (438-4338)2

TransUnion: Report fraud at transunion.com or (800) 680-7289.
