Minster Bank Welcomes Kylie Berning as Sidney Branch Manager

Minster Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Kylie Berning as Sidney Branch Manager. In her new role, Berning will oversee branch operations with a focus on developing a strong team, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive branch culture.

“I am excited for the opportunity to lead our Sidney team and continue serving customers throughout the community,” said Berning. “It’s important to me that every customer feels understood and receives consistent, reliable service. Clear communication, respect and following through on our commitments are at the heart of creating a positive banking experience.”

Berning brings six years of experience in the mortgage industry, having served as a licensed Loan Assistant, Processor, and Transaction Coordinator. She has also been a licensed loan originator since 2023. As Branch Manager, Berning hopes to build upon the strong foundation established by previous branch managers while expanding Minster Bank’s involvement throughout Sidney and Shelby County. She is especially interested in opportunities to promote financial literacy among young adults in the area.

“Kylie’s lending experience, strong local connections and commitment to exceptional service make her a great fit to lead our Sidney office, stated Alicia Hershberger, Chief Retail Officer for Minster Bank. “Her knowledge of the area and passion for helping others will be valuable as we continue to serve our customers and strengthen Minster Bank’s presence throughout Shelby County.”

A Shelby County native, Berning was born and raised in Anna and currently lives in Botkins with her family. She has worked in the Sidney area since returning to Shelby County in 2018 and has coached both boys’ and girls’ recreational and school sports throughout the area. Berning looks forward to becoming even more involved in the community and developing relationships with local organizations, including United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Outside of work, Berning enjoys trying new recipes and making the most of everyday moments with her family.
