Minster Bank Employees Donate to Morgan’s Place Cemetery

The employees of Minster Bank made a recent donation to Morgan’s Place Cemetery, a nonprofit organization in Sidney dedicated to assisting families through the grieving process when experiencing the loss of a baby by providing funeral and burial services, and post-partum support groups. The donation was made possible through Minster Bank’s “Casual for a Cause” initiative, where employees contribute funds in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays.

The donation was presented by Sidney Relationship Associate, Amy Gallimore, to Morgan’s Place Cemetery’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Mollie Verdier. This contribution will directly fund burial services and miscarriage kits provided to grieving families, offering comfort during a time of profound loss.

Morgan’s Place Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio, was established in 2022 by Mollie and Nathan Verdier following the heartbreaking losses of their unborn children in 2018 and 2019. Faced with both emotional and logistical challenges in laying their babies to rest, the couple chose to dedicate 2.5 acres of their family farm to create a space where other families could bury children lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, or shortly after birth. Through this mission, Morgan’s Place has become a source of comfort, support, and community for grieving families.

“We are incredibly grateful to Minster Bank for their generous donation to Morgan’s Place Cemetery,” Mollie Verdier expressed. “Their support helps us continue to offer comfort and dignity to grieving families through burials and miscarriage kits. Every gift helps ensure that no family walks through the pain of loss alone.”
