Minster Bank Awards $15,000 In Scholarships

       

Minster Bank recently awarded $15,000 in scholarships to 15 local 2024 graduates. Each received a $1,000 scholarship and were chosen by their respective school’s scholarship committee based upon their academics and their pursuit of a business degree.

Minster Bank is driven to support every community we serve. For over a decade, the bank has been expanding the scholarship program to reach more local communities and give additional students a valuable boost in their educational experience. Congratulations to the following students:

Sidney graduate, Hayden Ball, son of Kimberly Miller, will be attending The Ohio State University to study Chemistry.

New Bremen High School graduate, Benjamin Hamberg, is the son of Joe and Angela Hamberg. He will be attending Ohio State University to study Math and Actuarial Science.

Andrew Westerbeck, a Fairlawn graduate and son of Barry and Kara Westerbeck, will be attending Edison State Community College for his associate’s in business management, and then Bowling Greene University for his bachelor’s in the same field of study.

Aidan Jeffries of Saint Mary’s is the son of Joe and Kathy Jeffries. He plans to major in accounting at Miami University.

John Kramer, son of Tony and Susan Kramer and a Marion Local graduate, will be attending Wright State Lake Campus to study Accounting.

Ashley Mauk is a Troy High School Graduate and is the daughter of Aaron and Kelly Mauk. She plans on attending Ohio University and will be studying Business.

Troy Christian High School graduate, Anna Twiss, is the daughter of Billy and Mandy Twiss. She will be attending Wright State University and will be majoring in Human Resource Management and Business Administration.

Alyssa Selby, Wapakoneta High School graduate and daughter of Michael and Heather Selby, will be attending Bowling Green State University to study Business.

Houston High School’s Emma Duncum, daughter of John and Stephanie Duncum, will be attending Edison State Community College to earn her Real Estate certification and licensure.

Sean Wentling is a Vandalia Butler High School graduate and son of Kelly and Tom Wentling. He plans to attend Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton to study Business.

New Knoxville graduate, Lauren Wingler, is the daughter of Matthew and Heather Wingler. She will be attending Wright State University Lake Campus or Ohio Christian College to study Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Management.

Gunner Kimmel of Covington High School is the son of Ray and Stephanie Kimmel. He plans on attending Wright State University to study Business Administration.

Jackson Douglas (JD) Barhorst, Lehman Catholic High School graduate and son of Kurt and Connie Barhorst, plans to attend University of Dayton to study Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Emma Eilerman of Fort Loramie High School, daughter of John and Susie Eilerman, will be attending Wright State University’s Lake Campus to study Business.

Annalise Larger (Not pictured) is a Minster High School graduate and the daughter of Doug and Karla Larger. She will be attending the University of Dayton to study International Business.
