The Heart of Operations: Tenacity & Teamwork

At every company, there are those powerhouse employees—the ones who tackle any challenge head-on and keep things running smoothly. At Minster Bank, we’re fortunate to have not one, but four of these incredible individuals. With a combined 136 years of service, Lisa, Amy, Kris, and Peggi embody the stability of our operations, ensuring everything flows seamlessly for both colleagues and customers.

Peggi Clark – Operations, 32 years
“I’m in the right spot, and I really feel like I am helping people here.”

Teamwork is their secret sauce. Through the ups and downs of the financial world, their willingness to learn and adapt has been crucial. Peggi Clark, our Operations Specialist, exemplifies this adaptability. With a career that spans over three decades, she’s handled various banking roles, always ready to solve problems and lend a helping hand. “I’m in the right spot, and I really feel like I am helping people here,” Peggi says.

Peggi’s journey began with a childhood dream. As an eighth grader, she wrote herself a letter saying she wanted to work at a bank. Not even four years later, she started her banking career, and today, over thirty-two years later, she’s still fulfilling that dream.

“I know the work that I do matters and makes a difference.”
Amy Meyer – Accounting, 33 years

Amy Meyer also got her start at Minster Bank while still in high school, filing checks after school and working as a teller on Saturdays. When asked why she’s stayed, Amy says, “I feel a sense of purpose here. I know the work that I do matters and makes a difference. Plus, Minster Bank is a family-friendly workplace, which is perfect for those of us balancing work and life.” Amy has spent  over three decades here, working in Operations and now Accounting.

This flexibility and strong sense of teamwork create an environment where employees can put their families first. “My family is very important to me and over the years the bank has been very understanding in allowing flexibility when I needed it to take care of things at home. I have also been blessed to work with generous and caring people” says Lisa Dailey, who has been with Minster Bank for 36 years. The bank’s understanding of life’s demands has allowed Lisa to care for her loved ones while continuing her career.

Peggi and Kris echo this sentiment, highlighting the way Minster Bank employees support one another. “Sometimes life happens,” Peggi says. “But it’s okay because we’ve got each other’s backs.”

But it’s not just about covering for one another. Staying at the same job for over thirty years means finding joy and fulfillment too. When asked why she stays at Minster Bank, Kris Kuck jokes, “The Christmas Party!” She recalls the fun moments, from IT staff doing cartwheels to new employees singing the 12 Days of Christmas. “In all seriousness, the teamwork here is unmatched. We care about each other and are capable of stepping in when needed,” Kris adds.

Kris Kuck – Operations, 35 years

Over the years, Kris has witnessed the bank’s evolution—from the introduction of computers and email to the growth of multiple branches and a larger team. Through it all, the positive attitude of  the staff has kept the bank thriving.

At Minster Bank, loyalty, flexibility, hard work, and collaboration are at the core of everything we do. Our team pours themselves into their work because they know it makes a difference. We’re here for each other, and for our customers, approaching every challenge with open minds and a commitment to overcoming obstacles together.
