The employees of Minster Bank made a recent donation to Shop with the Blue, a local nonprofit in Auglaize County that pairs children with law enforcement officers for a holiday shopping experience. This donation was made possible through Minster Bank’s “Casual for a Cause” initiative, where employees contribute funds in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays.

This donation was presented by Kayla McClure, Minster Bank’s St Marys Assistant Branch Manager, to Sheriff Mike Vorhees. This contribution will help support the organization’s mission to provide meaningful assistance to Auglaize County children and families through positive interaction with law enforcement.

Shop with the Blue continues to make a powerful impact by fostering positive relationships between local law enforcement and the children they serve. Each year, officers volunteer their time to shop one-on-one with local kids, helping them pick out holiday gifts for themselves and their families. Thanks to generous community support and annual fundraising efforts, Shop with the Blue provides a brighter holiday season for children facing financial or personal hardships while strengthening their connection with the men and women who protect and serve our community.
