During the month of May, Minster Bank employees raised funds for Rustic Hope through the bank’s Casual for a Cause initiative, which encourages monetary donations in exchange for dressing casually on designated days. This effort not only fosters a sense of camaraderie among employees but also reinforces the bank’s dedication to community involvement and social responsibility.

The organization was nominated by Rachael Goettemoeller, a Commercial Loan Processor at Minster Bank. “I grew up learning about Rustic Hope through Catechism and church. I think it’s an incredible organization that shows women there is always hope, no matter the situation. There is always a reason to choose life, and there is always someone willing to help.”

Rustic Hope, a nonprofit organization based in Russia, Ohio, is committed to supporting young mothers in crisis by offering compassionate care, essential resources, and faith-based guidance. The organization provides a wide range of services, including parenting support, baby supplies, and children’s clothing. By helping women make informed decisions and build brighter futures for themselves and their children, Rustic Hope plays a vital role in strengthening families and uplifting the local community.

The funds raised through Casual for a Cause will directly support Rustic Hope’s programs and services. “We are solely funded by the donations of our supporters, so we greatly appreciate this generous donation!” stated Connie McEldowney, Founder and Director of Rustic Hope. “We intend to use the funds to purchase diapers and wipes for families struggling financially.”
