Minster Bank Employees Donate to RMHC Dayton
During the month of July, Minster Bank employees raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton through the bank’s Casual for a Cause initiative. This donation reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

For more than 15 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Dayton has been a haven for families with seriously ill or injured children. Through its welcoming House and family-centered programs, RMHC Dayton offers a home-away-from-home and essential support during medical crises. With compassion, hospitality, and a steadfast commitment to keeping families close, the organization helps parents and children face challenges together, surrounded by comfort, care, and hope.
The funds raised through Casual for a Cause will directly support RMHC Dayton’s programs and services. Employees of Minster Bank participated in this initiative by dressing casually on Fridays in exchange for a donation. This effort not only fosters a sense of camaraderie among employees, but also reinforces the bank’s dedication to community involvement and social responsibility.
“We’re so grateful to Minster Bank’s employees for their donations to support the families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton,” expressed Zach McGinty, Development Outreach Coordinator at RMHC Dayton. “Community partners like them are what make our mission possible. Thanks to their help, we’re able to continue caring for the growing number of guest families.”
The organization was nominated by Lisa Watercutter, Executive Assistant at Minster Bank, in recognition of the care and comfort it has provided to her brother’s family at RMHC Baltimore while their son undergoes medical treatments. They showed their love for the organization, “When your child is having surgery or undergoing testing, the last thing you think about is feeding yourself, transportation, etc. RMHC helps by giving you a place to stay and food to eat after those long and scary days at the hospital so you don’t have to think about those things.”
