Minster Bank Employees Donate to Miami County Animal Shelter
The employees of Minster Bank made a recent donation to Miami County Animal Shelter, a county-operated organization in Troy dedicated to protecting the well-being of animals and the community by enforcing Ohio dog laws, helping adoptable pets find permanent homes, and much more. The donation was made possible through Minster Bank’s “Casual for a Cause” initiative, where employees contribute funds in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays.

The donation was formally presented to the Miami County Animal Shelter by Heather Shaffer, Relationship Associate, and Nicole Brock, Assistant Branch Manager, of Minster Bank’s Troy office. This contribution will directly fund spaying and neutering dogs prior to adoption.
The Animal Shelter was established to protect the welfare of both pets and people and provide a safe haven for homeless animals. As a no-kill shelter, it has grown into a place of hope where lost and abandoned pets receive care, compassion, and the chance to find permanent, loving homes.
“This generous donation will be used to provide critical medical care for our adoptable pets,” explained Rob Craft, Director of the Miami County Animal Shelter. “Ensuring that all dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption makes them more desirable to potential adopters, reduces costs for new pet owners, and helps prevent unwanted litters in the community.”
