Minster Bank Employees Donate to HTC

The employees of Minster Bank made a recent donation to HTC in Dayton, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of local children in need, providing essential items and support through personalized care packages and other community programs. The donation was made possible through Minster Bank’s “Casual for a Cause” initiative, where employees contribute funds in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays.

Vandalia Branch Manager Andy Clements formally delivered the donation to Kelly Kempton, HTC’s Development Director. This contribution will directly fund essential items for their care packages, including car seats, diapers, socks, and hygiene items.

Formerly known as Hannah’s Treasure Chest, HTC was founded in 2001 when a mother began sharing gently used baby and children’s items with families in need at no charge. Today, with the support of over 100 volunteers, HTC serves thousands of children each year, ensuring every child they bless feels seen and valued by personalizing each care package to reflect their individual needs and interests. This donation was nominated by Joel Bopp, Senior Commercial Lender at Minster Bank, who has a special relationship with HTC, helping them secure the loan that enabled them to move into their current facility.

“Because of your generosity, we will be able to provide more essential items to local children in need,” expressed Kelly Kempton, Development Director at HTC. “We could not do this work without the kindness of people like you. Thank you for choosing to serve these children alongside us.”
