Minster Bank Employees Donate to Victory Project

During the month of April, Minster Bank employees raised funds for the Victory Project through the bank’s Casual for a Cause initiative. This donation reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
The Victory Project, a faith-based nonprofit organization in Dayton, has been influencing the lives of disengaged young men in the area for over 15 years. Through its comprehensive after-school program, the organization addresses the challenges of poverty, fatherlessness, and lack of direction by focusing on their three core pillars: Education, Entrepreneurship, and Enlightenment. Through consistent mentorship and hands-on experiences, the Victory Project empowers young men aged 12 to 18 to rise above their circumstances and envision a brighter, more purposeful future.
The funds raise through Casual for a Cause will directly support Victory Project’s programs and services. Employees of Minster Bank participated in this initiative by dressing casually on designated days in exchange for a donation. This effort not only fosters a sense of camaraderie among employees but also reinforces the bank’s dedication to community involvement and social responsibility.
“We are grateful for Minster Bank’s generous donation,” Victory Project’s Founder & CEO Monnie Bush stated. “The funds will be used for our dinners, which we provide to our students five nights a week. A consistent meal is essential for creating an environment that attracts youth to join the Victory Project voluntarily.”
The organization was nominated by Alicia Hershberger, Chief Retail Banking Officer for Minster Bank. “I chose Victory Project to spotlight the meaningful impact they have on our community each day. Their guidance for our youth is truly inspiring, equipping them with the tools needed for a healthy, successful future and for generations to come.”
