During the month of July, the employees of Minster Bank raised funds in support of Give Medical Ministry through the “Casual for a Cause” program, showing their commitment to widespread medical equipment access for those in need.

The Casual for a Cause movement, a hallmark of Minster Bank’s corporate culture, allows employees to dress informally in exchange for voluntary contributions toward charitable causes. The July non-profit was recommended by Minster Bank’s Hollie Cordonnier, who shared a personal connection to the organization.         “A family member had broken his foot,” she began. “But he didn’t need equipment for very long at all, and it would have been expensive to purchase. His insurance couldn’t cover it, so Give stepped in to help. I’m happy that now we have the opportunity to give back.”

Give Medical Ministry, a service based out of Covington in Miami County, focuses on providing gently used medical equipment at no cost with the goal of helping people afford the services they need. From crutches to walkers to wheelchair ramps and beds, Give lends these items to those who qualify, helping them recover and live independently. The Ministry strives to serve the person’s whole well-being, not just their physical recovery. By offering a money-wise choice and attentive service, they provide financial and emotional well-being.
